Hong Kong and Macau - SITE VISIT FEATURE
Travelling to tradeshows enables the Beech Ovens Sales & Marketing team to visit new, existing clients and end users in the local region.

During the recent HOFEX 09 show in Hong Kong, members of the team visited restaurants throughout Hong Kong and Macau.

Beech Ovens have ovens installed in virtually every major casino recently built in Macau, including Altira, Sofitel, MGM and the Galaxy. Construction is currently underway on the fabulous 'City of Dreams' project where Shangrila, Hyatt, Crown and Hard Rock are about to open a massive Gaming Precinct.  Beech Ovens have been contracted to supply a number of products to install in each of these complexes.

The visits to sites provide the team with the opportunity to see the spectacular ovens in operation and to gain feedback from Chef's using them.

The feedback is vital and provides valuable information to enhance oven design and performance.

The next big thing - INDUSTRY FEATURE
Destination marketing plays an important role in the success of hotels, restaurants and resorts alike.

As building in parts of the Middle East and parts of Asia slows to a near halt, Vietnam is becoming the next big thing with major building construction continuing despite the negative economic climate.

Resort developments and luxury hotels continue to expand across the Vietnamese landscape and with a strong destination marketing campaign by the country's tourism body, tourists are flocking to the region.

As tourists flock, competition between hoteliers and restaurateurs is on the rise.  The need to create unique venues to draw tourists is crucial.  This means providing the ultimate experience with opulent 5 star luxury and decadent dining reigning.

The regions cultural materials, rich timbers and sheer yet colourful materials are ideal to enhance the decor, and hoteliers and restaurateurs are embracing these products to successfully create luxurious spaces

With the decor 5 star, attention has turned to ways to tantalise the tastebuds.  Leading Chefs from the four corners of the globe have been employed to create the decadent dining experience unique to each restaurant.

The use of
fresh locally grown and farmed  produce, available in abundance throughout the country, is central to what is on offer.  But what is unique to each venue is the Chef's menu choice.

To offer a unique and varied menu, Chef's need superior cooking appliances and the Beech Ovens stone hearth range has become the appliance of choice.  The ovens are versatile cooking everything from French inspired soups and traditional rice dishes through to Italian style pizza's and roast meats.  Chef's are able to use one appliance to create many dishes and provide tourists with the decadent dining experience they expect in 5 star luxury.

With the availability of raw materials for decor and fresh produce for cooking, Vietnam will flourish as the next big thing.
